So you love L de Lolita Lempicka. You love it so much that you want your boyfriend to wear it, too. But one look at that frou-frou bottle, and his answer is “hell to the no.” Jo Malone feels your pain. That’s why they’ve repackaged L de Lolita Lempicka in a plain bottle bearing that magic word, “cologne”. Of course, they had to butch it up a bit, so they replaced LdLL’s orange topnote with some manly lime. Blue Agava & Cacao is also thinner and less voluptuous than LdLL, but the cinnamon in the background is undeniably similar.
Unless the above scenario describes your life so exactly that tears are currently streaming down your face, I can’t think of a reason to buy BA&C over LdLL. BA&C is like the low-calorie, artificially sweetened version of a luscious dessert; never quite as good as the real thing.

HA! I do love LdLL, but it never occurred to me make my boyfriend wear it as well. (I did once succeed in getting him to wear Pure White Linen…)
Another fabulous reason to buy the real thing — I often see it at discount stores for under $20.
