My plans are to stay inside and curl up in a ball. I’m sick and I feel like such a drag because I’m preventing my family from doing anything fun. 😦

I love fireworks and plan to watch them tonight with friends. I started choosing my pefume yesterday. I’m not sure yet but I was thinking about Antonia by Puredistance. Why? It’s cool enough to wear it, I love it and didn’t spend any time with it recently. Oh, and I couldn’t come up with a perfume from my collection to be more meaningful for this holiday – so I just disregarded that variable.
I totally couldn’t come up with a good “independent” perfume either. I often wore Prada pour Homme when I was trying to gain independence from a controlling relationship, but it seemed too weird to then wear that around Drew! Have a wonderful holiday in your Antonia!
Happy 4th of July, Ari! I celebrated Canada Day on the 1st by going camping with the fam and some friends and having a grand ol’ time. I smelled of sunscreen while doing it. 😉
Canada Day!!! I’m so embarrassed I didn’t know about it- way to prove the ignorant American stereotype! Next year I’ll do a Canada Day post too, complete with Kate Beaton comics!
Happy 4th to you! As I’m not in/from the US I won’t celebrate, and actually today’s the last day of my vacation! 😦 I wore Atelier Cologne Orange Sanguine today, and tonight I’m going to the hospital so I’ll choose something discreet — maybe Thé pour un Été, I’ve been wearing it a lot lately.
And I was so proud of myself this week, *almost* bought Bijou Romantique (went all the way up to the “submit” page) and then held back. And bought a ton of (much needed) clothes instead… But I doubt I’ll be able to hold myself back for much longer! Especially with you mentioning it all the time! 😉
Oh noooo! I’m so sorry to hear you’ll be in the hospital, Alnysie. I hope that you are not in any pain and will be out as soon as possible! And if a hospital trip isn’t reason enough to reward yourself with Bijou Romantique, what is?? 😉 I love Orange Sanguine- if I wasn’t biased towards Vanille Insensee (Drew wears it!), I would say it’s the most special fragrance from Atelier Cologne.

It was raining earlier, and hopefully the sun stays out so the night will be clear for fireworks. I’m going to watch my neighbors shoot off illegal fireworks from my porch with my husband. I’ll be sure to pick a perfume worthy of romance and fireworks. 🙂
