Dailies 08/28/2014

Daily Book: Very Small Shops. A very useful book on boutique design. Nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more.

Daily Fragrance: A Lab on Fire What We Do In Paris Is Secret. This fluffy cloud of rose, heliotrope, and vanilla is probably my girliest perfume, so I thought it would be a good match for my terribly pink nail polish. Wish I had it in the newer, chicher A Lab on Fire packaging.

Daily Nail: Deborah Lippmann Candy Shop. One coat only, or the glitter crosses over into second-grade-art-project territory. Thinking of exchanging it for something with smaller glitter particles, maybe Mermaid’s Dream.

  1. Glad to see that now that I’m back from a little vacay, the dailies are back 🙂
Also glad to see you reading up on things, wink wink!

  2. SOTD: What was leftover of the Light Blue I sprayed on a t-shirt earlier this week. Because work from home day!
Upcoming nail polish: can’t decide if I give up on summer brights and switch to fall jewels or give the obnoxious pinks one more weekend.
New product testing: California Baby SPF 18 lotion. Trying to find a basic everyday lotion with titanium dioxide based sunscreen that isn’t greasy. It doesn’t exist. 😦

  3. What We Do In Paris is one of my happy scents – it never fails to perk me up! As far as nail polish goes I am in desperate need of a pedicure. Again. In fact I think I said that the last time I commented, which means it must have beed about three weeks ago.
