Daily Fragrance: Bottega Veneta Knot. Orange blossom CITY. As much as I want to love it for the gorgeous bottle, I think I prefer the original Bottega Veneta, which was more unique and complex. Knot a fan.
Daily Comic: Teen Dog Issue #4. Teen Dog is a teen who is also a dog. Outrageously charming.
Daily Chapstick: Hurraw! Vanilla Bean Lip Balm. This smells just like a coffee-scented Lip Smackers I had in sixth grade! The only problem is that I have to enter American Apparel to buy it.

Daily Fragrance: Atelier Cologne Vanille Insensee. This little cutie is from the nicely-priced Miniature Discovery Collection. Vanille Insensee is my ex-boyfriend’s fragrance, so I hadn’t worn it in years. I’d forgotten how well-made and instantly appealing it is.
Daily Nail: Urban Decay Pulp Fiction Nail Color in Deep Red. On sale at Sephora for the ridiculous price of $5. (The Pulp Fiction palette is on sale, too!) It has a very subtle shimmer that I completely failed to capture in this photo.
Daily Graphic Novel: Jane Mai Sorry I Can’t Come In On Monday I’m Really Really Sick. My favorite cartoonist had a book launch last weekend! I had a lot of champagne.

Daily Book: Very Small Shops. A very useful book on boutique design. Nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more.
Daily Fragrance: A Lab on Fire What We Do In Paris Is Secret. This fluffy cloud of rose, heliotrope, and vanilla is probably my girliest perfume, so I thought it would be a good match for my terribly pink nail polish. Wish I had it in the newer, chicher A Lab on Fire packaging.
Daily Nail: Deborah Lippmann Candy Shop. One coat only, or the glitter crosses over into second-grade-art-project territory. Thinking of exchanging it for something with smaller glitter particles, maybe Mermaid’s Dream.

Daily Fragrance: Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt. Doesn’t smell like sage or sea salt. The most prominent note is actually the ambrette seed, making this a very pleasant, gently sweet skin scent. Very much in the Jo Malone tradition of Kate Middleton-y fragrances: pretty, if a bit unexciting. Try Chanel No. 18 for a real ambrette fragrance.
Daily Nail: Jin Soon Heirloom. I went full-on Gollum when I saw this polish. Yes, Precious… The color reminds me of those blue butterflies with wings like jewels. Some chipping after three days.
Daily Tea: Trader Joe’s Mint Melange Tea. The spearmint dominates. It’s not my beloved Trader Joe’s Candy Cane Green Tea, but it’ll have to do until the holidays come back around.

Sorry for the recent lack of Dailies, y’all! I’ve spent most of this week dealing with $500 worth of fraudulent charges on my card. The shmuck didn’t even have the decency to spend it on perfume!
Daily Fragrance: Etat Libre d’Orange Bijou Romantique. I got a record-breaking three compliments on this yesterday, and today is still young. There’s something seriously knee-weakening about that sweet iris note.
Daily Lip: Meow Meow Tweet Vegan Cocoa Butter Lip Balm in Tangerine Lime. Meow Meow Tweet is my very favorite of all those natural, small-batch Brooklyn brands for their excruciatingly cute packaging and surprisingly reasonable prices. The balms are very waxy, and create a good barrier from the elements.
Daily Game: The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. The newest and funniest Zelda. Deeply satisfying gameplay and Nintendo’s usual killer dialogue.
